~August Update~

I lost waaaay too much weight last month. I'm too skinny. It's kinda gross. I need to gain a little. I don't know how to do it...I'm paranoid about getting fat again. It's hard. I was afraid that I would be too extreme in this mission and I was right. I have a doctors appt. Wed and I'll find out how much I need to gain, but I'm thinking I'm like 11 pounds underweight now. Yuck.

July Update

July has been just as crazy as June. I've been doing the eliptical at night but cut down some. I went to the dr. at the begining of July and was 1 pound underweight. I kind of range from about 115-118 depending on what time of the month it is and am trying really hard to get back up to about 120, but doing it with muscle and not candy bars. I'm sure when wedding season dies down it'll be a little easier to do. Tarren helped me pick out my wedding dress for our wedding pictures and I need the name of a good seamstress. The smallest size they made the dress in was a 2, but I need some places taken in a few inches. It is so wierd because a year ago I was wearing sweats all the time to avoid size 18 jeans. I never thought I'd be able to wear my high school clothes again, but when I tried on all the jeans my mom saved for me...they were too big! Oh well because they styles were not anything I would wear now. But that does stink that we keep having to buy new clothes because I can't seem to find a steady size. I'm dreading winter because all my winter clothes are Mediums and Larges and right now XS is kinda baggy. It's okay because I plan on selling all my clothes on ebay so I can buy some fun stuff. I'm learning that when I buy cheaper clothing it rips or fades quickly. When I spend the money on a nice piece of clothing it feels sturdier and lasts longer. I think my new goal is quality clothing and not quantity...so if you see me in the same 10 outfits for a while you'll know why ;)

~ 2 crazy kiddos + wedding season = skinny mommy~

Well, I think I have a small confession. I think I've become somewhat addicted to exercising. I can't help it! After the kiddos are in bed for the night I find myself craving the elliptical trainer. I have managed to gain a couple pounds back and now my weight fluctuates between 118-122 depending on what time of the month is. I feel really energetic and I sleep better at night. I have been running around like crazy doing weddings on the weekends and shoots in the evenings...not to mention getting caught up on the PJ's bookwork. I try really hard not to schedule anything for the mornings or afternoons because that is my time with the kiddos. We have been having a blast this summer. I will have to post our wet n wild adventure on my other blog soon. I'm in Utah right now shooting a wedding. When I get home I'll be sure to update so ya'll can see how big my munchkins are getting!

Update

Well....I kind of neglected my blog for a while. I just got super crazy busy with pictures and didn't think about it. To be honest, in the past 5 days I have eaten 2 cartons of fat free ice cream by myself. I also have worked out for a minimum of 1 hour every single day. I bought new jeans the other day and they ended up being a size 0. Yeah strange I know. I was way smaller in high school and I think I wore a 3 then. I think it's that brand of jeans or something. I also had to buy new dress pants for wedding season (it's way too hard to shoot weddings and get in all those funky angled positions in a dress) I found some cute pants and they were a size 2. I want to stay this size, but I want my tummy thighs and arms to tone up a bit. My arms don't bother me much, but my tummy and thighs do. I have a lot of extra skin from having Garrett (it wasn't bad after Savannah) and losing weight. The stretch marks are really bad. They are loose and saggy and look like big wrinkly scars. I don't know if there is a surgery for my legs, but I am thinking about a tummy tuck. When I had Garrett my muscles seperated in my stomach and the dr. said that's the only way to fix it. It's super gross and scary but I would consider it. I don't know. I also think after every mommy is done having kids they should be granted a free boob job! Yep I said it. I don't think that one will ever happen because there is nothing really wrong with them just could be better ;). Anyway...I will keep working out and posting once in a while but I'm slammed with pics right now and get a little forgetful.

Back from AZ and ready to roar Day 1

Breakfast: 1 100 calories kudos m&m bar

Lunch: lettuce, cheese and ham with a little ranch dressing

Snack: 1 1/2 steak fingers

Dinner: turkey, olives, pickles and a little mayo

Snack: 1 100 calories kudos m&m bar

Snack: 6 pb saltines

Exercise: ran 1 mile, did 45 minutes of weights and 10 minutes on the leg magic machine

Thoughts: During my break from writing this down I thought I would gain a little weight. I actually ended up losing 5 pounds! I am now 5 pounds under goal so now my goal is to gain 5 pounds and tone up. Wish me luck!

I took a short break for the dieting thing. It was so strange not to worry about calories or fat. The crazy thing is that during my break I lost 2 pounds! I am going to Phoenix tomorrow and when I get back I'll start my work out program again.

~Day 38~

I DID IT!!!! I lost my last pound!!! I'm now at goal. I am going to concentrate on losing inches and firming up those flabby parts.


Breakfast: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and strawberry yogurt

Lunch: 1 1/2 cheese enchiladas and a few bites of spanish rice....a handful of chips with fattening sour cream salsa dip

Dinner: 4 oz strip steak, 1 tablespoon mashed potatoes....only ate half of them, salad with thousand island dressing

Snack: I tasted the fondant icing I made yesterday...good, but very very sweet. I'm gonna make a cake tomorrow and put it on it...pretty!

Dinner: 3/4 hot dog and 7 chips

Snack: 1/2 cup special k chocolaty delight cereal with 1 cup 1% milk

  • Exercise: I had planned to go running with the hubby but when we got around to it I went outside and got attacked by mosquitoes so we did the Leg Magic machine for 20 minutes, did 40 minutes of the exercise ball and 15 minutes on the elliptical trainer

Thoughts: I was getting worried because I had gained some weight on that new diet so I quit doing it today. I think my way was working and I need to just stick with it and keep up with my exercise.

~Day 35~

Breakfast: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1 cup fat free yogurt

Lunch: string cheese and 2 oz ham

Snack: 1 can of veggie soup

Dinner: 2 french toast sticks

Thoughts: Today's new thing was to try to eat soup in the afternoon...I'm only giving this diet a few more days. So far I've gained 1.8 pounds...not fun. I keep hoping it's all gonna fall off or that it's just muscle weight, but I don't think so.

Exercise: 20 minutes on the Leg Magic machine, ran full speed for 10 minutes jogged for 20, 100 crunches on the body ball and 10 minutes of weights for my arms

~Day 33~

Breakfast : 8 oz. chocolate protein shake - 170 calories, 21 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber

Lunch: 3 oz. grilled chicken, 2 cups of steamed veggies

Dinner: 8 oz homemade potato soup

Exercise: 20 minutes on the Leg Magic machine, ran 1 mile and walked 2 miles, pushed the kids on the swings (arm work out for sure) for 30 minutes and did gymnastics with Garrett for 20 minutes

Thoughts: Wow that Leg Magic machine is awesome. I did my measurements and I'll re-do them in a week and see how it's going. I am soooo sore today, but I have a TON of energy and wanted to go running. I love strollers! I think it makes it easier to run, but I don't know if that's in my head or not.

~Day 32~

Breakfast: 1/2 cup of whole grain kix cereal with 1/2 cup of 1% milk, 4 oz of 1% milk with 1/2 baby spoon of strawberry mix

Lunch: All the chicken and cheese out of a roasted chicken salad from Quiznos

Dinner: 1/2 cup of mac-n-cheese, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 1 tiny bite of chicken strip (yucky chicken)

Snack: 1 6oz container of light fat free lemon meringue pie yogurt...yummy

Snack: 1/2 cup of kix with 1 cup of 1% milk...ya ya I had more milk than cereal so I had to drink the milk...but it brought me over my target protein amount


Exercise: I bought a Leg Magic today from Big 5. A handsome man talked me into it and I couldn't say no. I read the reviews online and most everyone says it is great. I will take my measurements tonight and again in two weeks. I am going to do the dvd that comes with it and I will update how long I did it and all that hoopla tomorrow.


Thoughts: Today's new thing from my diet was to eat 60 grams of protein. I had 10 for breakfast, 25 for lunch, 15 for dinner, 1o in one snack and 6 in another. With a total of 66 grams of protein for the day. It's really hard to eat soooo much protein. I know why people would lose a size though because with all that filling protein, there really is no room for unhealthy food. I have eaten a ton today and really do hope that I don't gain weight from doing this. It just seems strange to me that I should be able to eat this much and not gain. I guess we'll see. They said the average is 8 pounds in 31 days on this diet so I guess if I haven't lost my 1 pound in two weeks...I may scrape this diet.


~note~ I have been weighing myself of a Tanita scale from Big 5. It is awesome because it tells you your body fat % and you know if the weight you have gained recently is because of water weight or over eating. You see your body water % and it is great. Also, I bought a pedometer that tells you the calories burned during specific activities. It will tell you how many calories are burned while you clean house...run...walk...all sorts of things. You just enter your weight and activity and bang get to work. It is awesome! I also bought a resistance band to help with my arm toning and a body ball to help with my abs. I will keep everyone updated on what works and what doesn't.

~Day 31~

Breakfast : 2 granola bars

Lunch: the cheese out of 2 manicotti with a little alfredo sauce

Dinner: 2 bites of Ham and Swiss Quiche...I spent an hour making this only to discover that i don't like Quiche....1/2 cup of steamed veggies, 1 dinner roll

Dinner #2 : since I didn't eat much at dinner I had a bowl of special k chocolatey delight a few hours later

Thoughts: I'm starting a new diet called lose a size in 30 days from Self magazine. I want to lose 1 more size and maybe this will help. You just figure out what type of eater you are and follow the directions each day for that type. Day 1 was keep a journal and since I've been doing that for a month...I skipped to day 2. It was : Eat 200 calories and 4 grams of protien for breakfast...easy right? Well, we'll see if it works.

Thoughts: I am having some major pms here. I just want to eat junk food. My total body water percentage is up 2% so I think I'm swollen about 2.5 pounds swollen...what a pain in the bum

Dessert: 3 bites of cherry chip cake with cherry icing

Snack: 1/2 cup of cottage cheese


Thoughts: Boy I love cheese...I could eat cheese all day everyday

~Day 24~

Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, 1 orange

Snack: 1 string cheese, 1 granola bar

Lunch: skipped because I had to go grocery shopping and get the house ready for my shoots

Snack: 2 cubes of 2% cheese

Dinner: yummmmy 1 mushroom with spinach sauce, 1 jumbo cheese stuffed shell, 1 small piece of bread with tomato butter....Mutus in Durango is by far the best food in the world!!!

Dessert: 1 bite of pistachio canolli, 1 bite of white chocolate strawberry cheesecake, 1 bite of cream cheese brownie

Thoughts: Wow it felt good to just have a day and pig out. I felt so guilty on the drive home, but I told myself to just get over it. It has been 11 months since I've been dieting and I needed a break.

Dinner: 3 small pieces of orange chicken (I only made half of the sauce recipe and used water insetead of oil), 1 cup of steamed veggies, 1 bite of low fat veggie egg roll

Snack: Bad girl. 3 small sugar cookies...why did I even make them? I could blame it on the kids, but truthfully nobody asked me to make them. I just did...and so far I'm the only one that has touched them.

Notes: Well last night at the movie I did okay. I did eat the nachos for dinner, but no candy or popcorn. I lost .4 pounds yesterday so I think adding more snacks and stuff is working. I'm going to try that again...but now I am really craving nachos...BADLY!

Breakfast: 2 egg whites made with a little cheese and 4 olives sliced

Snack: 1 string cheese

Lunch: 1/2 of a turkey sammie at Quiznos

Dinner: 2 oz grilled chicken breast and 2 cups of steamed veggies

Snack : 1 string cheese and 1 strawberry vanilla granola bar

(We ended up driving to Santa Fe to see my grandma in the evening)

~Day 19~

Notes: Well, I didn't gain any weight from eating so much yesterday so I guess I'm okay. I am debating my goal weight of 115. I kind of feel like I'd like to lose about 3 more pounds and then also work out heavily to get to my goal size. I am about a 4 right now and I think the 3 pounds would keep me at a 4 and then working out could bring me to a 2. We're going to the movies today and I really want some movie nachos and candy. It's a special treat for Garrett. We're taking him to see Horton hears a Who.

Breakfast: bowl of fruity pebbles with 1% milk

Lunch: 1/2 of a 1/4lb hamburger with cheese, pickles and a little mayo

Dinner: 2/3 a bowl of frito pie (fritos, shredded cheese, seasoned hamburger meat and a few tomatoes)

Snack: 2 thin mint cookies...wait make that 3. Savannah gave me hers too.

We didn't go to the movies because Garrett said he didn't feel like going. Maybe next week. But the good part is that I didn't have to be tempted by snacks.

~Day 18~ Garrett's surgery day

Okay dinner for Day 17 ended up consisting of the outside of 2 eggrolls, and then I had a bowl of fruity pebbles with Garrett at 11:30 pm since he wouldn't be able to eat or drink after midnight.


Breakfast: skipped it because we had to be at the hospital so early and Garrett couldn't eat

Lunch: 1/3 of a small Turkey salad with 1/2 of a 130 calorie pack of Thousand Island dressing

Snack: a handful of tortilla chips with a handful of shredded cheese melted and a tsp of sour cream

Dinner: 1 1/2 manicotti noodles stuffed with 1% cottage cheese and low fat mozzarella

Snack: a handful of tortilla chips with a handful of shredded cheese melted and a tsp of sour cream

Notes: I feel like I ate more than usual today. I did really well on not giving into the ice cream temptation. We got Garrett ice cream on the way back from the hospital (around 2pm) and then my mother and father in law came out and took us to Dairy Queen for ice cream (around 8pm) I passed both times, but did have my "nacho" snacks. Probably not very healthy, but oh well...better than slim jims.

Snack: (A bad choice) Small Iced Mocha Latte from Sonic...a ton of calories

Thoughts: I shouldn't have had the Latte. I am feeling guilty. I didn't choose anything healthy today. I didn't exercise at all. My dr. said my white blood count is really low. They are running more tests, but I'm sure it's nothing.

~Day 13~

Breakfast : 1/2 oz. of beef jerky

Lunch: 1/2 oz of beef jerky

Dinner: 1 cup of tortilla chips with melted cheese and diced tomatoes

Snack: Iced Coffee from home (I added a few ounces of skim milk so that added calories, but since I didn't have time to eat much I figured it was okay) 1/3 package of ramen noodles

Thoughts: Today we went to Cortez to visit my great-grandma in her assisted living home. We were rushed to leave so I didn't have time for a good breakfast. We went to sonic for lunch but they got the order wrong and forgot my dad's food and mine too! So...we ate a little bit of jerky.

Lunch: 2 slices of lunch meat from a deli sandwich

Snack: 2 ritz crackers, 2 slices of cheese

Dinner: 1 cup of lasagna, 2 cups of salad, 30 sprays of dressing

Drinks: I had coffee today. I have never ever ever liked coffee until today. I put ice in it and it was so yummy...and I have tons and tons of energy!!! I also drank a lot of water and sugar free kool-aid.

Notes: I almost ate cake at Heather's shower today. The only reason I didn't was because I cut a piece and then got distracted by other things. By the time I remembered about the cake...it was all dried up and not edible. I guess that's a good thing though.

Exercise: Yesterday I didn't do anything because I was so sore, but today I did 40 min. on the elliptical trainer.

~Day 10~

Breakfast : Okay so this is embarrassing, but I slept through breakfast. Tarren was off and I just wanted a day to sleep in. I got up with Garrett in the middle of the night and had to give him a bath and change his sheets because he drank too much water before bed and had an accident.

Lunch: 1 hard boiled egg, 3 oz of turkey, 14 bites of pre-packaged salad and 14 sprays of Asian Silk 1 calorie dressing

Snack : 4 cubes of cheese

Dinner: 4 oz chicken breast, 20 bites of pre-packaged salad and 20 sprays of Asian Silk 1 calorie dressing

Dessert : 2 thin mint girl scout cookies (1/2 a serving)


Drinks: Today I haven't done well with my drinking. I have had about 30 oz so far. I looked at the clock and it was already 2:30 and I hadn't had anything to drink!! I am going to try to drink about 22 oz the rest of the night. I have had really bad heartburn today and I think it might be the salad dressing...may have to switch flavors.

~Day 9~

Breakfast : 1 scrambled egg

Lunch : 1/4 Turkey Sandwich (I choked on my second bite and didn't want to eat anymore)

Snack : 4 peanut butter cracker sandwiches (you know those lil' snacks you buy at the store)

Dinner: 5 bites of angel hair pasta with tomato sauce

Dessert: 4 Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies (160 calories...not too bad for cookies)

Another Snack: 3 saltines with organic peanut butter ( i have tried to get used to this stuff, but I just don't like it)

Drinks: I tried really hard to drink 3 of those 22 oz. bottles today. So far I've had 2, but I'm on #3 and I am going to make myself finish it before bed.

Exercise: My mom and I took the kiddos out for a picnic today. We walked 3 miles, taking turns pushing the stroller up the hills. After we got home I did 20 push-ups, 100 crunches, and spent 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer...I'm going to regret all of this tomorrow. My arms are already killing me.

~Day 8~

I was supposed to have to go into work yesterday, and I was going to bring Garrett with me. While we were getting ready my boss called and said the computers were down so I had to work from home. Tarren was off so we had a nice chance to hang out and have a lot of fun! Yay for days off!


Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, 1/2 piece of toast with margarine

Lunch: 1/4 chimichanga from Las Hermanitos

Dinner: 1 hamburger bun with 1 scoop of shredded beef BBQ

Snack: 3 girl scout cookies...bad I know

Drinks: I really really need to drink more. Tarren bought me a cute pink water bottle that holds 22 oz. of water. I'm going to try to drink 3 of them a day...wish me luck. Today I drank about 30 oz. total of sugar free kool-aid. I'm not a good drinker. It catches up to me and I have days where I'm so tired and swollen I feel like I can't get out of bed! I've got to take better care of myself. It's not fair to the kids to have a mommy who doesn't want to do anything but sit on the floor and play that way. They want a mommy to run around and play with them. I will really try to drink more!

Snack: 2 baby carrots while I was making dinner

Dinner: 1 bowl of cocoa pebbles with 1 banana sliced over it, with skim milk (I couldn't eat the stew I made because the hamburger meat looked to wormy for me, you know how you can see the pieces of meat together)

Snack: 4 ritz smores snacks

Easter...holiday...big meals...lot of junk food...not good for dieting :)

Breakfast : I know it's bad but I skipped breakfast so I could save my calories for the big meals

Lunch: 4 oz roast beef, 1 tsp mashed potatoes, 1 tbs green beans and 1 slice of monkey bread

Dinner: 1 slice of ham, 1 small red potato with butter and seasoning

Snack: 1 hard boiled egg with no yolk, small pack of sixlets, and 4 jelly beans (at two different times, not that I ate jelly beans and egg together)

Dessert: small slice of white cake with cherry jello and whipped cream frosting

Lunch: 1/2 turkey salad with no dressing from subway

Snack : 7 baby carrots, 1 small cube of cheese

Dinner: Fruit Salad w/ 2 tbs fat free light vanilla yogurt

Snack : 1 apple sliced with 1 tbs organic peanut butter


Thoughts: I ate A LOT today! It felt like I was always eating. I was full all day long. I had to force myself to eat dinner, but my dr. says I will ruin my metabolism if I keep skipping meals. He said I'm doing great and they will call on Wed. with the results of my blood tests and let me know if I can quit taking my medication. By his scale I was at 130! Yay!! 15 pounds to go (he said to lose 9.5, but I can go to 15 if I want to) Well actually...15 pounds to go by his scale. I have to see what my scale says at home on Thursday. I hope I can drop a few pounds this week.
I have ridden the exercise bike for 45 minutes everyday I've been here and I walked 2 miles today along with riding the bike. Yay for working out!!!

3 Days Until Day 1

Breakfast : handful of wheat thins toasted chips- veggie flavor...pretty good, but not as good as regular chips

Lunch: 1/2 container of Nutrisystem Pasta Parmesan with Broccoli...I could only force myself to eat 1/2 of it cuz it was sooo bitter! My mom has a ton of nutrisystem food she gave me, but if it all tastes like this...no can do


Dinner: 1 small hotdog plain (I hate hotdogs, but for the past week I've been craving them)


Snack: 1/3 container Yoplait Light Fat Free Berries N Cream Yogurt (Shared it with Garrett and Savannah)


Thoughts: We leave for Phoenix tomorrow. My dr's appt is on Monday and we come back on Wednesday. My family loves loves loves to eat out so this could prove to be quite challenging for me. I am still starting on the 17th, no matter what. I know I don't eat much right now, but I don't eat healthy. I'm going to try to eat more, but healthier...and I need to work out more. My Wii has been lonely without me and the eliptical trainer pretty much forgot who I am...While I'm in Phoenix I'll ride my Papa's bike for a workout and try and swim with the kids everyday.

4 Days Until Day 1

I had to run around running errands all morning and doing a few things for work.


Breakfast : 6 0z glass of skim milk


Lunch : handful of chilli cheese fritos


Snack : small chai tea latte from starbucks, and a handful of popcorn


Dinner: 1 small hot dog plain


I think I've been snacking more than eating meals, but I'm okay with that because I don't feel like I'm starving. Today the scale said 129 and i got soooo excited...but i'm not counting on keeping any of that off once I start feeling better.

5 Days Until Day 1

Feeling a little better today, but I suspect that I wasn't sick from the pain killers, I think my sinuses are draining into my stomach. That used to happen when I was younger and the dr. at immediate care on Sunday thought the ear infection had spread into my face and also had a sinus infection...so I still feel a bit yucky today and don't really feel like eating. I've lost 2 pounds being sick, but I'm not going to count it because I know when I get better I'll gain it back in one meal ;)


Breakfast (9:30 am) : 1/2 container Yoplait Light Yogurt, Bananna Cream Flavor...yummy but really sweet and so I could only eat 1/2 before it made me queezy.


Lunch (1:00pm) : 1 handful of Cheez-it crackers


Snack (3:00pm) : 1/2 slice cinnamon butter bread...I would have eaten the whole thing, but when I got up from the table to get Savannah, my mom's dog jumped on my seat and stole the other half!


Dinner (7:30 pm) : 1 serving spoon of chicken, broccoli, pasta bake. 1 tablespoon stuffing


Dessert : 1 reese's peanut butter egg...and a handful of captain crunch with no milk...can you tell I was starving?

I'm sick today from those darn pain pills. I haven't been able to keep anything down since last night so after last night's green bean snack, I gave up eating.

Dinner (7:30 pm) : the inside only of one shredded beef taco...which I didn't keep down at all

Breafast ~10:00 am ~ : I ordered an egg, bacon and cheese quesidilla from Del Taco, opened it up and ate 1/4 of the eggs with a little cheese.


Lunch ~12:00 pm~ : 1/2 bowl of salad with a little ranch and 1/2 a small slice of cake (Pam's funeral)



Snack ~4:00 pm~ : 8 oz of 2% milk with 1 tsp. chocolate syrup mixed in



Dinner ~8:30 pm~ : (I know this was late, but I took a pain pill at 4 for my ear and fell asleep until almost 8) 2 bites of hot link sausage and 2 bites of funeral potatoes



Snack ~ 10:00 pm~: 1 cup steamed green beans with a dash of salt and pepper, another 8 oz. of 2% milk with 1 tsp. syrup

Breakfast ~ 10:00 am~ : Another 1 in. slice of cake....I guess I should really just say "A big bite of cake" cuz that's what it is.


Lunch ~ 12:30 pm ~ : A chocolate chip cookie....I am sooooo not healthy today....it is Tarren's birthday and I will take vitamins to make up for my non nutritional choices...


Dinner ~ 5:00pm~ : 1/2 bowl of wide egg noodles with beeft tips, 1 slice and a bite of the second slice of monkey bread , 8 oz. of orange pineapple juice


Dessert : I would have eaten cake, but I got sick and had to go the immediate care center. They gave me a lovely shot and I was asleep by 8:45 and didn't wake up until 8:00 the next morning.

Lunch ~ 1:00 pm~ : 1/4 Navajo Taco with no beans and no sauce, 4 oz. diet dr. pepper



Snack ~ 3:30 pm~ : 1 24 oz. bottle of water and 1 celery stick with a baby spoon of peanut butter



Dinner ~ 7:30 pm~ : 6 oz of home made chicken noodle soup, 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich



Excersice : I did Wii tennis for 20 minutes today and cleaned my kitchen from top to bottom...I think that counts as a work-out!



Thoughts : I lost the weight I gained while I was sick and just want to stay at this weight until my dr.'s appt on the 17th.

Dinner ~6:00 pm~ : 2 tablespoons of shredded pork with BBQ sauce, 2 tablespoons corn and 2 tablespoons steamed baby carrots.

Snack ~9:00 pm~ : 2 tablespoons of baby carrots and 1 cinnamon graham cracker

12 days until Day 1

Feeling a bit better today, but still not great...hungry though. Noticed this morning on the scale that because of bad eating while I'm sick and poor drink choices I've gained 1.6 pounds. Boo!

My thoughts : I really need to drink more. I don't think I ever drink enough. I think I just get so busy I forget to drink. I need to start carrying around a bottle of water with me everywhere...maybe if I could find a pretty one it would remind me to drink more?!?

Breakfast ~ 10:30 am~ : 1/2 bowl of Captain Crunch cereal with 2% milk

Snack ~2:30 pm~ : 15 cheetos...I should really throw those away so I can quit snacking on them!

Drinks ~All day~ : 12 oz can of Sprite Zero and a splash of orange juice ( i can't seem to leave the oj alone) 2 16 oz. bottles of water

Snack ~ 4:30 pm~ : 1 saltine with natural peanut butter

Dinner ~6:30 pm~ : 2 serving spoons of elbow noodles with ragu sauce.

Dessert ~ 7:30 pm~ : 1/2 a piece of easter chocolate (I wanted to eat the whole piece, but Savannah saw it and wanted it so I gave it to her.)

13 days until Day 1

I feel even worse today. I've taken so much medicine and I am sooooo swollen from all that oj. I know I can't drink anymore today. I have to go to work at 12:00. It's only for a few hours so I think I can do it. Poor Savannah fell asleep on her floor playing with her toys, and I knew if I touched her she'd wake up. She is still sleeping on her floor right now. I think we'll go to the dr. tomorrow. Yesterday I felt so sick I didn't care what I ate...today I feel so sick I don't care IF I eat.

Breafast ~9:00 am~ : 6 0z skim milk

Lunch/Snack thingy ~ 4:00 pm~ : 3/4 Lean Cuisine Roasted Pepper Pizza, 25 cheetos and 24 oz. of tea with sweet n low

14 days until Day 1

I will start really paying attention to my diet and exercise in two weeks...but until then I'll still keep track of what I ate. Me and Savannah are soooo sick today! I think we have bronchitis. I am not sure if she feels the same way, but if she does....we are achy and coughy and sneezy and feverish and just plain icky.

Breakfast ~8:00 am~ : 6 oz. skim milk

Snack ~10:30 am~ : 8 cheetos

Lunch ~2:00 pm~ : 1 hard taco from taco bell

Snack ~3:00 pm~ : 1 hard taco from taco bell

Drinks ~all day~ : 40 oz of orange juice...yes I added up the calories and it was bad, but I don't feel good and this was the only thing that made me feel better

Snack ~5:00 pm~ : 3 tsp Children's Grape Benadryl and 3 tsp Children's Berry Punch Dimetap Cough Syrup...yummmmmy

Dinner ~7:30 pm~ : 1/2 kids size bowl of egg noodles with 1 tsp margarine spread

Snack ~9:00 pm~ : 3 tsp Children's Berry Punch Dimetap Cough Syrup and 6 oz of skim milk

Exercise : Ha Ha. Everytime I stand up I get dizzy, who knows what would happen if I tried to get on the elptical trainer or play the wii.

It's all comes down to this

May 2007- I began my journey to find the smaller Brandi I used to know. To date I have lost 61 pounds. I had an original weight goal of 125 in mind, but have now changed it to 115 because as I'm getting older 125 doesn't look the same as it did 5 years ago.

I haven't really kept track of my diet up until this point. Amanda has really inspired me to kick it into high gear and come face to face with my diet and excersise problems/

I have a really crazy two weeks ahead of me so I'm not going to worry about changing my diet too much until the 17th of March. My goal for the month of March is 6 pounds. That puts me at goal in 3 months.

They say losing the last 30 is the hardest, so I bet the last 18 is still a big struggle. I can do it! (I hope) Stay tuned!!!
